Youth Choir of the Year Competition

This was our first competition and we felt prepared but very nervous, we had done the work we needed but we were still away from home.

We stayed the night before the competition in a hostel next to the Millennium Centre; the rooms were modern, comfy and had all the essentials.

It was an amazing experience because it was the biggest auditorium and the largest number of people we had performed for. We were on second to last which made it more nerve wracking as we knew we had to raise our game because the standard was so high.

It felt brilliant to win we were crying and screaming, all our hard work had paid off. It was a fab experience and we can't wait until the grand final, especially because we will be on television.
